“Reimagining long-term care” is the theme of this podcast, which discusses five papers from the February 2022 issue of JAMDA. Topics addressed include family involvement, financing/payment, assisted living, systemic racism, and post-acute care.
This podcast will spotlight articles from the JAMDA February 2022 issue of JAMDA - JAMDA - The Journal of Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine. Dr. Sloane is a family physician and geriatrician with a master's degree in public health. He is the Elizabeth and Oscar Goodwin distinguished professor of Family Medicine and Geriatrics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Co-director for the program on aging, disability, and long-term care, at the Cecil G Sheps Center for Health Services Research
Dr. Brown is also a family physician and geriatrician at the University of North Carolina, where she is an associate professor of family medicine and director of the residency training program.
